Joseph Albert Milligan, Jr. passed away at the Carson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Carson City on Sunday evening, January 19, 2025.  He was 101 years old.

Joseph was born in Miles City, Montana on December 18, 1923 the son of Joseph and Lillian Milligan.  He was an Army veteran.  He served during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, he received the American Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.

Joseph had lived in Oregon and Idaho and for the past 2 years in Yerington.  He worked many years as a Plasterer

He is survived by his Sons, Dennis and his wife Mary and Robert; his daughter-in-law, Claudia Milligan; his 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise and son, Ron
