Adrian Benjamin 'Ben' Martinez passed away at his home in Yerington surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.  He was 42.

He was born in Mesa, Arizona on August 22, 1977 the son of Thomas and Maria Martinez.

Ben was a lifelong resident of Smith Valley and Yerington.  He married Jennifer Lynn Mowrer in Smith Valley on July 22, 2000.  He had worked as a counselor at ROP for over 6 years.  He also helped coaching his daughter's softball teams.  He also enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his four children, Fernando, Macaella, Ricardo and Ava; six brothers and sisters; his parents and his grandmother, Socorra and numerous cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be a BBQ with all of his favorite foods.  Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net .  Also sympathy cards can be sent directly to his wife from this site.
