Alan James Richardson lost his battle with cancer early Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 at his home in Yerington, NV. He was 66.
Alan was born in Fairview, Ohio March 14, 1950 the son of John and Marcella Richardson. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He served on the USS Hornet and was a crew chief for several different aircraft during his tour.
He moved to Yerington just over a year ago from Pioneer, California. He and his wife fell in love with the town and a little house that needed a lot of TLC, it reminded them of their grandparents home. Alan was a high school teacher for the last 17 years and retired in 2013. He loved his Lord and was starting to be active in the local church. He said his family was in Heaven saying to one another, "So where is Alan". He is with them now.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie and his son, Andrew and his step son Will.
A Memorial service for Alan will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in June. Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net, also sympathy cards may be sent directly to his wife from this site.
