Obituary
Alfred 'Al' W. Palmer passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada early Wednesday morning, June 16, 2010. He was 93.
Al was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on October 9, 1916 the son of John and Bertha Palmer. He had moved from California to Yerington and lived the past 18 years on the Palmer Ranch. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. Al enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Joy; his son, Stephen and by his three grandchildren, Zachary, Evan and Davis Palmer; his sister, Gladys Aiken; also by his extended family of Joy's including Tony, Robin, Roger and Michael and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Al's memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, June 26th at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada (775) 463-2911. A gathering of friends and family will be held following the service at his home 55 Butte Road Yerington.
