Obituary
Amalia (Molly) Mary Backeroff passed away in Wellington, Nevada on Sunday, October 5, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. She was 84.
She was born March 25, 1924 in San Francisco, California the daughter of Basilio and Pola (Santiago) Borrelli. Molly enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, treasure hunting and outdoor wildlife. She enjoyed her Sunday drives. She had lived the past year and half in Wellington, Nevada coming from California.
She is survived by her children, Walt Backeroff, Jr., Carolyn, Paula, Dolores and Elizabeth; by her brother, Daniel Borrelli; and sisters, Marian Frasher and Dolores Ganfield; her 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband of 58 years, Walter L. Backeroff and second husband, Harvey Bookout, her brothers, George, Alcilio and Benjamin and sister, Annie; and three grandchildren.
No memorial services are to be held. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, NV 89447 (775) 463-2911.
