Ann Marich died peacefully at her daughter's home in Yerington on December 19, 2006 just two months shy of her 87th birthday.

She was born February 19, 1920 the daughter of Tony and Mary Ann (Rubcich) Budak. She graduated high school in 1938 and at the age of 18 moved to Reipe Town, Nevada where she met her husband George A. Marich. In 1939 they married and resided in Old Ruth and later moved to Ely, Nevada where together they raised four children; andrew George Marich, Michael Sam Marich, Craig Eli Marich and Mariann Marich. She had made her home in Yerington for the past eight months but had resided in Ely for the 67 years where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Lady of Snows Guild and the Croatian Fraternal Union. She was a talented and avid baker, gardener and craftswoman amongst her many accomplishments. Those who knew Ann well, knew her as a very strong willed woman with a determination, euthusiam and passion to live her life to the fullest. Most of all she had a beautiful spirit and her compassion and kindness were endless. she put her whole heart and soul into family and friends. her lively spirit will be greatly missed yet never forgotten as we will all carry apary of her with us forever...We miss you and love you Baba!

She is survived by her eldest son, Andrew and his wife, Linda, her daughter Mariann and her husband Ward; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and countless friends and extended family. she was preced in death by her parents, her husband, George, her sons, Craig and Michael; brothers Johnny, George, Mike and Marko and sisters Antonia and Josephine.

A Rosary will be held Thursday, December 28th at 8:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday December 29th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ely burial will be at the Ely Cemetery.
