Obituary
Annie Catherine Porter passed away Wednesday morning, September 16, 2009 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. She was 74.
She was born in Mount Pleasant,Tennessee on July 5, 1935. She has lived in Yerington for the past 15 years. Annie loved her children and grandchildren very much.
She is survived by her children; Sheila A. Harden of Dorena, OR, Sheena F. Valentine of Yerington, Sheema D. Shaw of Yerington, Barbara Mangiaracina of Denver, CO, Eugene Porter of Yerington; her brother, William Earl Bell of Hohenwald, Tennessee; and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Porter and her son, Gordon T. Murphy.
Her graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, September 20th at the Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Greg McCabe of the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
