Audrey Evelyn Allum passed away on November 25, 2017 at her daughter's house in Yerington at the age of 87.
Audrey was born in San Jose, CA on May 16, 1930. She moved to Yerington when she was a few weeks old and then moved to Reno on the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. She graduated from Reno High School and moved back to Yerington after she married the love of her life, William Allum, in August of 1948. They had 2 daughters, Carol and Connie to whom she was devoted. Bill died in 1962 and as a single parent, Audrey had to find work. She was hired as assistant City Clerk of Yerington in the mid 1960's and was also the Yerington police matron for quite a few years. Then, around 1980 became Yerington City Clerk until she retired in 1990
.
In the late 60's, she drove her daughters around the state so they could attend their Rainbow Girls events. She was an active member of the Community United Methodist Church for over 70 years, and she enjoyed being a member of P.E.O. for over 20 years.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and her parents Elmer and Lucy Riley.
Audrey is survived by her daughters, Carol Woodward of Ladera Ranch, CA and Connie Rosaschi (Robin) of Yerington; brother Gordon Riley of Santa Clara, CA; grandchildren Craig Woodward (Scott Norton) of Mission Viejo, CA, James Rosaschi and Robert (Cassy) Rosaschi of Yerington. She also had twin great grandchildren, Riley and Christopher Rosaschi of Yerington.

, and she was laid to rest next to her husband in Yerington's Valley View Cemetery.
