Barbara Jean Gohn passed away at her home in Stagecoach, Nevada with her family by her side on Monday evening, April 18, 2011.
Barbara was 69.

Barbara was born in Denver, Colorado on December 16, 1941, the daughter of Ivan and Juanita Jeannette (Carroll) Johnson. Barbara married Charles Matthew Gohn July 1963 in Colorado. She also served in the U. S. Army WAC. She worked as a Social Worker for the State of Arizona for many years.

Barbara has lived in the Stagecoach area for the past 23 years coming from Arizona. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Barbara is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Charles; her sons, Matthew Dean Gohn and Steven Richard Gohn; her brothers, Bill Johnson, Jack Johnson, David Johnson, Gary Johnson and Jim Johnson; her sisters, Patricia Spindler, Carolyn Maraggos, Janyce Myers, Vickye Detloff, Linda Kinkead; her grandchildren, Nicki, Amber, Kyle, Matthew, Charles, Nina, Britinie, Corey, Ryan and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Crystal and Daniel; her Mother, Juanita Jeanette Johnson. She was preceded in death by her Father, Ivan Johnson, her daughter, Nina Jean Gohn, her brothers, Donald and Larry.

Barbara's memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5470 Elm Street, Silver Springs.
