Obituary
Bernice Louise Gray passed away at her home on Monday afternoon, December 1, 2008 after a battle with cancer. She was 80.
Bernice was born in Hector, New York on October 10, 1928 the daughter of Nathan and Gertrude Buckley. She had married Robert E. Gray in Reno, Nevada on June 20, 1953. She had lived in Yerington for over 50 years. Bernice was a member of the SLMC Auxillary and was also a past President of the group. She was also a PTA bake sale baker extraordinaire. She was a loving wife, mother and friend.
She is survived by her son, Michael of Crescent City, California; a brother Elmer Buckley; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-daughter, Linda Abken, a sister, Doris Barber and her husband, Robert who passed away August 9, 2007.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington (775) 463-2911.
