Our mother was born on September 21, 1931 the daughter of Richard and Fern Dickerson in Winfield, Kansas.

The family moved to northern California  where she  attended  high school at Hayward High, and went on to marry and raise her children.

Jean ( as she like to be called) was a waitress,  and a homemaker. She lived life to the fullest. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her  children and grandchildren and great grand children.  And also liked listening to her music, she also enjoyed spending time in the mountains hunting, camping and riding motorcycles, and attending concerts and many more things..., she was adventurous.

She was proceeded  in death by her  grandparents, parents . Her brother Robert Dickerson and her daughter, Vicky Dees.

She is survived by  her daughter, Linda Dresbach of Sonora, CA, son, Kevin Jester(Alissa) of Tucson Arizona, daughter Karen Newell of San Lorenzo CA, and Julia Grossmueller (Scott grossmueller)  of Yerington NV , John Halton of Martinez  Ca.  Her grandchildren Nichole Elizalde of San Lorenzo, CA,  Robbie Taylor of Sonora CA, Zachary Newell of San Lorenzo, CA, Sierra Newell( Frankie) of San Lorenzo, CA

Darryl Atchison of Gardnerville, NV,  Brandie  Meridith of Yerington, NV and Travis Atchison of Yerington, NV., Dylan and Deyvnn Jester.  Her great grandchildren, Jayden Atchison, Darlin Elizalde Perez, Alayna Meridith, Jax Newell Mele, Dakota Atchison and Athena Atchison, and several nieces.

A celebration of life will be in Lake Tahoe, CA on June 5th 2021 please contact us for further details.
