Boyd Ernest Henley passed away at his home in Yerington on Monday, September 23, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was 90.

Boyd was born in El Paso, Texas on May 26, 1929 the son of Thomas and Constance (Hunter) Henley.  He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Boyd married Dorothy Pair in Los Angeles, California in 1950.

Boyd had lived in Yerington for the past year and half coming from Palmdale, California where he had lived for over 70 years.  He had worked many years for the school district as a Bus Driver and in the Warehouse.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his sons, Duane Henley and Garry Henley; his 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Shirley Henley.
