Obituary
Buddy A. Howard passed away on Saturday morning, February 9, 2013, at South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care after a long battle with cancer. He was 62.
Buddy was born in Olympia, Washington the son of Asa and Marjorie (Dean) Howard III.
Buddy was raised in Washington and then later moved to Raliegh, North Carolina where he began work for a Cable Company. In the 1970's he transfered to Yerington, Nevada. Here in Yerington he joined the Fire Department as a Volunteer Fire fighter. He had also worked for DZB in Hawthorne for many years.
Buddy married Debby Smith in Tahoe on December 24, 1982.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Debby, his daughter, Kelsey; his brother, Kevin Webley, his three sisters, Becky and her husband David Smith, Dorothy Matthews and Jeanne Cheeseman; his Mother, Majorie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father.
A Rosary will be held for Buddy, 7:00 pm Thursday, February 14th, at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 hwy 208 Yerington and the Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 15th, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 103 N. West Street Yerington.
