Obituary
Carl Len Morton, 56, passed away December 14, 2011, in Carson City, Nevada.
He was born on January 4, 1955 in Yerington, Nevada to Leonard & Mucie Morton.
After graduating from high school in Yerington, Carl spent his life living in Arizona and Colorado getting a Bachelor of Science degree in business and then moved to Carson City, Nevada where he was employed for 15+ years as the Director of Operations for PolyPhaser Corporation in Minden, Nevada. He loved fishing, golf and the Denver Broncos.
Carl is survived by his daughters Kathryn Reecy of Reno, Nevada; Melissa Morton-Murphy of Carson City, Nevada; and Amber Morton of Carson City, Nevada. He is also survived by his siblings- sister Lota Rosaschi of Yerington, Nevada; brother Wesley Madewell of Yerington, Nevada; brother Vernon Madewell of Yadkenville, North Carolina and brother Danny Morton of Mountain Grove, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Mucie Morton; and sisters, Barbara Troutman & Verna Shatto.
Carl was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all that knew him. He will be loved, remembered and missed forever.
A celebration of his life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington
