Carl Wayne Wetmore passed away on Monday evening, July 14, 2008 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Yerington. He was 86.

Carl was born in Blanchard, Iowa on November 15, 1921 the son of Earl and Edith (Tait) Wetmore. He lived in Chico, California and Redding, California and Portland, Oregon before moving to Yerington, Nevada. He worked for Anaconda Cooper Mine for 25 years as a truck driver. After retirement he moved to Spokane, Washington for 12 years and then moved to Sun City, California for over 14 years and then returned to Yerington 4 years ago. He loved to garden, make crafts and life on the farm. He got a kick out of teasing people. He was a very patient man and hardly ever asked for anything and was easy to please. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his son, Greg Wetmore of Spokane, Washington and his daughter, Wanda and her husband Jerry Espinoza of Yerington, Nevada; his grandchildren, Jamie, Christa and Joshua Wetmore; Erin Spoelstra and Brenton and Kersti Espinoza; his daughter-in-law, Julie Wetmore of Mojave Valley, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonnie; a brother, Ralph and a son, Doug.

In keeping with his wishes no memorial service will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada 89447 (775) 463-2911.
