Obituary
Carolyn Marie Strosnider passed away Friday afternoon, april 13, 2012 at the South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada. She was 91.
Carolyn was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on March 19, 1921 the daughter of Frank and Esther Bond.
She was a long time Smith Valley resident and also lived in Bridgeport and Yerington. Carolyn worked as a rancher with her husband. She was active in many clubs and organizations in Smith Valley including Soroptmist, was also a member of the Cowbells and the South Lyon Medical Center Board of Directors. She was a also a member of the Democrat Party.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Miles, Denise Asvitt, Jim Strosnider and Deborah Hartline; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Frank, Larry, Jack, Jerry and Richard.
Carolyn's Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Yerington.
