Charles (Charlie) Frank Booth, 35, passed away in a tragic accident, while on a hunting trip with his dad, Willie, on September 29, 2016 in rural Elko, Nevada.
Born in Carson City, Nevada on October 18, 1980, a birthday he shared with his maternal grandmother Irene Crouse. Prior to his 1999 graduation from Yerington High School, Charlie was a member of the baseball and basketball teams all four years
.
Upon graduation he worked in Reno, Nevada at various jobs. Charlie then relocated to Mountain Home, Idaho with his best friend, Wayne Bull. There he worked construction until he was injured in a life threatening on-site accident, prompting his move back to Yerington, where he started his own dry cleaning business. He also drove for KT vending and dealt cards at Dini's. At the time of his death, Charlie was working at Borealis mine outside of Hawthorne.
Charlie, often likened to his Dad, shared his contagious smile with friends, in school, outdoor trips, and at many family gatherings. His love for hunting and fishing exceeded his Dads and was often described as passionate. Known for his strong work ethic and stubborn will, Charlie also loved deeply.
Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Bryan Booth. He is survived by his mother, Cindy Crouse Booth, his brothers Jason (Janelle) and Kevin Booth, many aunts and uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, October 6th at Holy Family Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Friday at the Yerington Intermediate School Gym Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at www.FRFH.net
