Obituary
Charles Junior Crist "Charlie" passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Saturday morning, September 26, 2009. He was 90.
Charlie was born in Delores, Colorado on March 16, 1919 the son of Eddie and Jennie Crist. Charlie was a World War II veterans having served in the US Navy. He has lived in Yerington for the past 24 years moving from Hagerman, Idaho. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and RVing. He also enjoyed rock hunting also cutting and polishing rocks. He was a member of the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church. He married Arlien White August 15, 1968 in Carson City, Nevada.
He is survived by his wife, Arlien of Yerington; his step son, Jame Lucchetti of St. George, Utah, his daughter, Diana Crist of Vacaville, CA and step daughter, Sharlien Harrington of Redding, CA; his grandchildren Elizabeth Crist of Modesto, CA, Sandra Richardson of Mt. Shasta, CA, Catherine Nieblos of Bakersfield, CA and Kathy Lavender of Redding, Ca; his great grandchildren, Breanna Crist-Hill of Modesto, CA and Danielle Nieblos of Bakersfield, CA; his step grandchildren, Alan Lucchetti of Salt Lake City, Utah, Pete, John and David Lucchetti of St George, Lydia Song of St George, Lisa Van Sickler of Arlington, Texas, Adrian Villa of Mt. Shasta, CA, Leland and Kenny Lavender of Redding, California; and 8 Step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Charles, Granddaughters, Debbie Crist and Angela Horton and his wife, Arizona Lucille Crist.
Charlie's funeral service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, September 30th at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hyw 208 Yerington with Pastor Greg McCabe of the Mason Valley Southern Baptist church officiating. burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery. A reception will follow the service at the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church 5B 2nd South Street (Mason)
