Obituary
Dale 'Pete' Housel passed away unexpectedly at his home in Silver Springs, Nevada on Thursday, March 10, 2011. He was 71.
Pete was born on August 6, 1939 in Greenwich, Connecticut the son of Dale Osborne and Kathrine (Marsh) Housel. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army.
Pete has lived in Silver Springs for the past three years coming from Eureka, Nevada. He enjoyed Camping and Fishing.
Pete is survived by his children, Benjamin Housel, Clinton Housel, Thomas Hanke, Pamela Hanke-Wines and Tammara Hanke-Hastings; his sisters, Marsha Housel-Hayes, Nancy Housel, Judith Housel-Akers, Kathie Housel-Bogue; his grandchildren, Nancy Anderson, Patricia Housel, Johnathan Housel, Sara Housel, Robert Hanke, Hyram Wines and Alysa Wines; and his great granddaughter, Melanie Anderson; and by his long time companion, his girlfriend Kevyn Zachary.
Pete's service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 15th at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley with the War Veterans Memorial Association providing military honors.
