Daniel (Danny) Lopez passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was 31.

Danny was born in Reno, NV on November 10, 1986 the son of Avery Lopez and Lona Katenay.  Danny grew up Yerington, NV. He was the guitar player for the band 'Seven Churches', a talented artist, song writer, and loving father. Danny enjoyed his time spent with his family and friends and brought much life to every moment.

Danny is survived by his significant other Rita Romo, children, Marcus P. Lopez, Juan R. Ramirez, and Senthia M. Ramirez. Father, Avery Lopez; brothers, Mario, Avery Jr., Mikey, Dusty, and Mark; sister, Kayla. Paternal grandmother Ada Lopez; and maternal grandfather Earl Katenay; auntie, Reynese Salas; uncle, Doug Katenay; cousin, Toby Salas and Aiden; sister-in-law, Amy Roberts; and niece and nephew, Payton and Eli.  He was predeceased by his Mother, Lona Katenay; brother, Peter Lopez; paternal grandfather, Augustine Lopez; maternal grandmother, Wanda Katenay.

Danny's funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Yerington Paiute Tribal Community Center. Burial will be at the Tribal Section of Valley View Cemetery.
