Obituary
Darrell Eugene Anderson passed away at his home in Yerington on Friday, August 29, 2014. He was 85.
Darrell was born in Alfalfa, Oklahoma on March 25, 1929 the son of Glen and Jewel (Cowart) Anderson.
Darrell was a Jack-of-all Trades, a Musician, Artist and Mechanic. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and restoring furniture. He also enjoyed telling jokes and playing jokes on every. Darrell has lived in Yerington since 1998.
He is survived by his loving companion of over 31 years, Sylvia Wawers; his sons, Gary, James, Johnny; his daughters, Kathy and Carlene; his five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; his sister, Carlyece and her husband Ken Humphreys. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Terry and Kenneth and his daughter, Dayla.
Darrell's Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, with Pastor Bob Bridges officiating.
