Donald Lee Bartlett

Donald Lee Bartlett was born February 5, 1945 the son of Ann Bartlett in Lawndale, California.  He was 80 Years 10 Months 28 days of age.  He almost made it to 81.

 He had been a resident in Yerington for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene for 45 years. Don was the son Ann Bartlett born in Lawndale, CA. He had 3 brothers KC, Nick, Charles, a sister Marie and son Sean who all preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene for almost 45 years, and his daughter-in-law, Gabi Bartlett and grandchildren Brody, Oliver and Ireland; adopted daughter Tara Luning and grandchildren Michaela, Mathew and great grandson Malachi; stepsons Christopher and Dustin Meierhoff, Lacy and grandkids DJ Meierhoff, Crimsyn, Jacob and Evan Dini and Erin Dini.

Don graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas in 1964, he attended BYU, went on a Northern States mission, and was drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam.

He worked for the Clark County Sheriff’s Department for 11 years. He worked as a photographer, and carpenter, sports announcer, and taught high school Economy, Woodwork, History, Computers and Photojournalism and he mastered them all until he retired.

His graveside service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Valley View Cemetery in Yerington.
