Delfino Quintero Guzman passed away at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno early Friday morning, March 29, 2019.  He was 57.

Delfino Q. Guzman was born on May 21, 1961 to Beatrice Quintero-Guzman and Joseph Guzman in Schurz, NV. He attended grade school at Schurz Elementary School and graduated from Mineral County High School in Hawthorne, NV. After high school he attended Phoenix Institute of Technology, where he studied electronics.

In Sacramento is where he met Dianna West and her small child Richard Bustillos and started a family and ended up bringing Alexandar Guzman into this world. He worked for Kevin Young Construction in Sacramento, CA then returned home several years later and worked for the Walker River Housing Department.  He loved fishing, hunting, shooting guns and kicking back and having a few with his brothers. He was a strong, compassionate, loving and prideful man who made friends easily and always made people feel welcome. He was everybody's favorite uncle and he truly loved his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is proceeded in death by his mother; Beatrice Guzman and son; Richard Bustillo. He is survived by his son, Aleczandar Guzman; father, Joseph Guzman; brothers, Victor Guzman, Gerald Garza; sisters, Victoria Guzman, Ellen Root, Chrissy Stevenson and grandchildren Nhylah, Zulayah and Azayleah Guzman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Delfino's funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Walker River Tribal Gym in Schurz.  Burial will be at the Schurz Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net .
