Obituary
Della Mae Lyons passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 26, 2012 at the Gardnerville Health & Rehab Center in Gardnerville, Nevada. She was 84.
Della was born in Englewood, Colorado on July 7, 1928. She married Rolland Lyons in Los Angeles, California on December 25, 1947.
They moved to Wellington in 1969. She worked for Bentley for many years. Della enjoyed working in her garden.
Della is survived by her husband of over 64 years, Rolland; her children, Rose (Pat) Wright, Judy (Paul) Kemper and Dan (Bonnie Lyons; her 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; her twin sister, Delores Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary.
A celebration of life service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Smith Valley Baptist Church, 888 Hudson Way Smith, Nevada with Pastor Travis Walker officiating.
