Obituary
Dennis Edward Harrell passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Tuesday afternoon, November 24, 2009. He was 68.
Dennis was born in Roswell, New Mexico on September 11, 1941 the son of William and Mary Belle (Brantley) Harrell. Dennis served in the United States Army. He married Linda Joy Enox in Kermit, Texas on September 5, 1964. Dennis worked as a Railroad Inspector for many years. They lived in many different areas but lived in Yerington for over 23 years. He was always working on something mechanical. Most of his time had been spent working on his "Harrell's Ostrich Ranch" with the birds.
He is survived by his wife, Joy of Yerington; His children, Daniel Harrell of Davis, California and Jamie Chavez of Yerington, Nevada; his brothers, William Wayne Harrell and Jerry Lynn Harrell and his sister, Cheryl Ann Rickets; his four grandchildren, Samantha Cleveland, Amanda Chavez, Rachel Harrell and Alex Harrell.
A Memorial service for Dennis will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 28th at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. His cremated remains will be buried at the Valley View Cemetery.
