Dolores May Terrell

Dolores May Terrell passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026 at South Lyon Medical Center with her closest family by her side, she was 90.

Dolores was born May 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Woodrow and Lauretta (Stech) Wisden.

Dolores was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She moved to Yerington in 1979. She worked at the Yerington Senior Center for a while as a cook, then took a job at Mainline and soon after began work at the Mason Valley News, where she developed photos and printing plates, until she retired.

Dolores is survived by her daughter Theresa Spinuzzi and son-in-law Pete, daughter Debbie Roberson (husband Kurt), granddaughters Ashley Gonzalez (husband Luis), Amber Spinuzzi, Angela Reinhardt (Ron), Ginny Coons (Josh), Kathleen Bowman Griffin and Eric Roberson, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She loved to garden, feed the wild birds and had a big heart for stray cats in her neighborhood.

No services are planned. Her last wish was that her cats and dog not be “dumped”. She leaves behind 12 cats and a chihuahua. In lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to make a donation to go towards the continued care of her beloved cats, that would mean a lot. Donations can be sent to Theresa Spinuzzi, 833 W.
