Obituary
Donald Ray Giovacchini passed away on Monday evening, December 18, 2017 at the Saint Mary's Medical Center in Reno. He was 78.
Don was born in Smith Valley, Nevada on October 1, 1939, he was one of 18 children born to Ernest and Irma (Altman) Giovacchini. He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army.
He was an avid hunter & fisherman. He enjoyed gardening and canning and preserving food. Most of all he loved spending time with his family
Don is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Jimmy (Sheila) and step-son, Jake (Kim); his daughter, Dawn (Paul) and step-daughter, Kristen; his bothers Lloyd and David; sisters, Elsie, Irmie & Olga; his grandchildren, Heaven, Desire, Garet, Brandon, Chad, Broyden, Reagan and Jordon; also by his beloved dogs, Gypsy and Rockey. He was preceded in death by his parents, his numerous brothers and sisters and his granddaughter, Raeme.
A Celebration of Life and Potluck for Donald will be held at the CG Bar, 2822 Hwy 208 Wellington on Wednesday, December 27th 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
