Obituary
Donald William Pendergrass passed away at his residence in Yerington on Friday morning, July 17, 2009. He was 79.
Donald was born January 16, 1930 in Roseburg,Oregon one of seven children of William and Margaret Pendergrass. Don was a Merchant Marine serving in Guam. He retired to Yerington to be closer to his family after a long career in gaming management. Don will always be remembered as a loving Father and Grandfather with a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his two daughters, Beverly and her husband Gary Hanson and Carolyn and her husband Doug Malone; his grandchildren, Justin Hanson, Jennelle Hanson, Christopher Steurer and Chelsea Vickrey; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Candice Hanson; his brother, Norris and his wife Martha Pendergrass and his sister, Margaret Pendergrass Rutter.
Private family service has been held. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington (775) 463-2911.
