Donald F. Shepard, III, died Monday, March 11,2019 at the Rosewood Rebabilitation Center in Reno.  He was 73.

Donald was born in Oakland, California on August 15, 1945 the son of Donald and Antoinette Shepard.  He was a Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war.  He received several medals during his service including the Vietnamese Service medal including two bronze stars.

He had lived the past 16 years in Yerington having come from Arizona.  While in Arizona he had worked as a Service Manager for Sears for over 29 years.  After coming to Yerington he worked for many years for Maraccini Plumbing and Heating.

He is survived by his six children, Denise, Kelly, Teresa, Melissa, Scott and Shannon; his adopted son, Johnathon; his Foster children, Sean, Sandia, Crystal and Colleen; by his four siblings, Veronica Rowley, Michael Shepard, Robert Shepard and Mark Rowley; and by numerous grandchildren.

Donald will be buried at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.  Family and Friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net
