Donald H. Tibbals our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and Papa passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. He was 82.

Don was born on October 16, 1931 in Glendale, California the son of Walter and Mildred (Humphrey) Tibbals.

He will always be remembered as a hard working, larger than life individual with a great many accomplishments. He loved and served his country, his family and community; as well as orchestrating a few shenanigans along the way.

Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joy; eight children, Don W. (Sandy) Tibbals, Scott (Melissa) Tibbals, Mike (Cindy) Tibbals, Shawna Tibbals, Sherry Tibbals, Scott (Tanya) Ruddell, Sally (Doyle) Hall and JoElla (Roger) Tiscareno; 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; his brother Joe (Carol) Tibbals and sister, Barbara Beal along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Margaret McCloud and Helen McDonald.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Pioneer Crossing Conference Center, 11 North Main Street Yerington.
