Donna Dane passed away early Saturday morning, May 3, 2014 at the South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care facility in Yerington, Nevada.  She was 69.

Donna was born in Ukiah, California on September 17, 1944 the daughter of Bud P. and Donalda F. Dane.

Donna lived on a ranch near the Walker River where she enjoyed family activities.  She worked in Lake Tahoe area briefly before moving to Reno.  In Reno she worked for Fitzgetrald's Nevada Club and Circus Circus Casinos.  During this time she had a long term friendship with Adolf Lupera.  In 1992, Donna moved to Yerington where she worked for the Masini family at Casino West for over 20 years.

Donna is survived by her brother, Al and his wife Judy Dane, her sister, Judy and her husband Jim Mikudik, her sister-in-law, Sue Dane, her sister, Vicky and her husband Dan Newell; also by 10 nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Frank Dane and a great niece, Jessica Waldaias.

Donna's funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 12 N. West Street Yerington.  Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery.
