Obituary
Doris Compston Martin passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was 80.
Doris was born in Delta, Colorado on April 21, 1928 the daughter of Ernest and Maudie (Bean) Hall. She lived in Yerington for many years. She married Elwood Compston in 1946 and had later divorced and Elwood passed away in 1985. Doris enjoyed needlepoint, Quilting and other crafts. She enjoyed camping and square dancing. She had married Stan Martin in 1976 and he passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis and his wife Leah; and John and his wife Wilma; her grandchildren, Brett and Michon, Tina and Russ, Leslie and Patrick and Mathew and Gretchen, Todd & Kinzie; great grandchildren, Keegan, Colby, Zachary, Madi, Mackenzie and Emmett; her brother Raymond Hall. she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Edward and sister, Lois Kunzi.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 23rd at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada (775) 463-2911.
