Dorothy 'Dot' M. Hornback passed away on Monday afternoon, May 28, 2012 at the South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada. She was 91.

She was born in Los Angels, California and grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Dorothy loved sewing, Yahtzee, Scrabble and played with her friends, Betty, Wanda and Evelyn at the Senior Center in Yerington almost daily. She collected Betty Boop and earrings, which she had at least 100 pairs.

She adored her son Tim and his wife, Paula and loved her daughter, Nancy and all of her grandkids. She had 5 grandkids, 7 great grandkids and 6 great great grandkids. Dot also loved her cat, Janie.
