Obituary
Dorothy Ann Long was received into heaven during the early morning hours on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She was 48.
Dorothy was born in Seattle, Washington on March 22, 1960 the daughter of Leo and Ethel (Chase) DeMarre. Dorothy left much to soon but to all who knew her the word 'Love' barely convey how she was thought of. She had lived in the Yerington area for the past 14 years coming from Washington state. She was also a member of the Mason Valley Moose Lodge, Nevada Chapter#2059. Dorothy never shirked a duty and never turned her back on someone in need.
She is survived by her husband, Randy of Yerington; her parents Leo and Ethel DeMarre of Yerington; her brothers Leo, DeMarre, Jr. of Merrieta, California, Brian DeMarre of Yerington and Danny DeMarre of Seattle, Washington; her grandma, Mary Hemmer of Yerington and Aunt and Uncle, Vicki and Jim Dunlap of Yerington; by her husband's parents, brother-in-law, Steve and sister-in-law, Tammy and Judy and by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 17th at the Moose Lodge in Yerington.
