Obituary
Edmund D. Reymus passed away at Tahoe-Pacific Hospital in Reno, Nevada on Friday morning, March 25, 2011 after an extended illness. He was 63.
Edmund was born in Schurz, Nevada on April 30, 1947 the son of Ernest and Helen (Sides) Reymus. He graduated from Carson City High School and had attended various colleges. Ed had worked many positions within the Walker River Paiute Tribe including being Tribal Chairman.
Edmund is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Reymus Allen, Floreen Tobey, Vivian H. Reymus and Angelina Reymus Menz; by his son, Edward Reymus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Vera Reymus Kochamp.
A visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208, Yerington.
Edmund's funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Walker River Tribal Gym in Schurz. A luncheon will follow the service at the gym. Interment of his cremains will be held at a later date.
