Edward Arthur Gates passed away at his home in Yerington on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. He was 69.
He was born in San Francisco, California on April 24, 1938 the son of Arthur and Esther Marie (Siemsen) Gates. He had served in the United States Navy.
He had worked many years in the automotive department for Sears.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne Gates of Yerington; his children, Edward A. Gates, Jr. and Marsha Ann Sturdvant; and 4 grandchildren, Breanna, Michael, Jack and Grant.
In keeping with his wishes no service will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
