Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Hall passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Thursday, September 9, 2010. She was 68.

Betty was born on September 4th, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of James and Betty Jean Finney. Her father was in the military and was transferred to the San Diego area in 1945 where Betty grew up and graduated from Mt. Miguel High School.

Betty married Orlin Edwards in 1961 and gave birth to twin daughters, Dena and Donna in 1965.

In 1976, Betty and her twin girls moved to Nevada in search of a better life. It was in Yerington where Betty met and married Mike Hall and made the family complete. Betty enjoyed many years in Yerington where she held many administrative jobs, was involved in many civic and local groups, loved the outdoors and loved to help everybody that she met.

Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Donna and her husband Mike. She is survived by her daughter Dena, grandson Cody and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Casino West Convention Center in Yerington at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2010.
