Ellen Goldie Babinec German passed away at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was 95.

Ellen was born in Michigan on March 17, 1918 the daughter of Eldon and Goldie Taylor.

Ellen married her childhood sweetheart, Martin Babinec in 1937. Together they had five girls and one son, her son lived only 7 days.

Ellen has lived in Yerington since 2002.

She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne, Shirley, Carol and Patricia. Also by her beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Martin, her son, Martin, Jr., and her daughter, Carla; her brothers, Ted, Ed and Eldon.

In keeping with her wishes no local service will be held. Her cremated remains will be taken back to Shelby, Michigan to be buried in her family plot.
