Eric James Jim passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was 35.

Eric was born in Carson City on November 26, 1980 the son of Guy and Nadine (Kizer) Jim.

He attended Universal Technical Institute school with his brother Daniel. He came to live in Yerington with his Mother, Nadine his children and brothers, Daniel and Sidney to be closer to his family after his Father, Guy Jim, Jr. passed away. Eric loved his kids. the love of his life was 'Body Pop" his purple car. The way he talked about his car you would have thought he was talking about a woman. He loved to race her through Wilson Canyon. If any of his family ever needed car help he was already to lend a helping hand. Eric had worked at the Yerington Paiute Tribe as the IT guy.

He is survived by his Mother, Nadine; his sons, Kenny and Michael; his daughters, Eileen and Krystal; his brothers, Guy Jim III, Daniel, Sidney, Devin, Dave and Troy; his sisters, Donzie, Andrea and Deanna Bobb; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 5th at the Tribal Gym on Campbell Lane in Yerington. Burial will be in the Tribal Section of the Valley View Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening, March 4TH, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
