Ethel Ann DeMarre passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, March 12, 2014 with her husband and sons by her side at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.  She was 75.

Ethel was born in San Diego, California on March 16, 1938 the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Gross) Chase.  She had married Leo DeMarre in National City, California on July 27, 1957.

Ethel had worked for Boeing for many years and retired in 1995.  She moved from Federal Way, Washington to Yerington in 1995.  She enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends.  She also enjoyed traveling with her husband in her retirement years.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Leo; her sons, Leo, Jr., Brian and Daniel; by her sister, Vicky Dunlap; by her Mother, Mary Hemmer; her nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her Father and a daughter, Dorothy D. Long.
