Obituary
Ethel May Lawson passed away on Tuesday morning, March 11, 2008 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. She was 87.
Ethel was born in Reno, Nevada on April 17, 1920 the daughter of William and Susan (Goins) Shirley.
She had married Oley E. Lawson in Reno, Nevada on December 25, 1939.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Lawson and William Lawson both of Stagecoach and Frank Lawson of Redmond, Washington; her daughters, Shirley Jean Hevener and Linda Whalin both of Yerington and Carrie Perry of Salt Lake City, Utah; by her sister, Ann Jackson of Kingman, Arizona; her 16 grandchildren and her 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Oley E. Lawson; her brothers, Charles, William, Ellsworth, Richard, David and Lester and her sisters, Marion Scott and Alice Beers.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
