Obituary
Evelyn Marie Rountree passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Monday afternoon, March 23, 2009. She was 90.
Evelyn was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 10, 1918 the daughter of Dale and Opal Campbell. She had married Malcolm Rountree in Tampa, Florida on September 28, 1943. She had lived in Yerington for the past 13 years. She had also lived in Incline Village, Nevada for 5 years and in Honolulu, Hawaii for over 30 years. She had been a member of the Mason Valley Country Club and the USA Golf Association.
She is survived by her daughter Lynn Derflinger; her granchildren, Dean Derflinger and Jacqueline 'Annie' Barrera; her three great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Malcolm who passed away , July 22, 2007.
Her cremains will be buried with her husband at the 'Punch Bowl' National Cemetery in Hawaii.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington was in charge of the arrangements and cremation.
