Frances Maxine Summerville passed away at the South Lyon Medical Center/Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada on Friday morning, November 6, 2009. She was 88.

Frances was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 10, 1921 the daughter of William and Glenna (Ross) Waits.

Frances lived in Yerington since 1980 and before she had lived in Schurz, Nevada for many years.

She is survived by her children, Jay and his wife Elizabeth Summerville of Yerington, Rebbecca Roberts of Yerington ; her six grandchildren, Jay Summerville, Jr., Becky Summerville and Francine Summerville, Cassie Roberts, Amy Roberts and Brandon Roberts; and numerous great grandchildren; also survived by her sister, Betty Collier. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Carroll who passed away April 24, 1981, and her brother, Bill Waits.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Valley View Cemetery at 10:30 am Friday, November 13th. Her cremated remains will be buried in the family plot next to her husband at Valley View Cemetery in Yerington. Following the service a reception will be held at her son's home 515 E. Bridge Street, Yerington.
