Obituary
Franklin John Stercula passed away Thursday evening, March 6, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in Reno. He was 82.
Frank was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania on September 18, 1925. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He had lived in California and Washington where he worked in the Automotive repair field and had owned his own Auto Body Repair Shop. In 1974 he moved with his wife, Beverly to Yerington, Nevada. He had worked for Anaconda and later at Dini's Lucky Club as a slot mechanic. His wife Beverly passed away in 1983.
He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Montes and Virginia Ramirez; a brother in law, Richard Oliver; his grandchildren, Stephanie Fawcett, Nicole Hardeman, Chase Hardeman, Brandon Ramirez and his great grandchildren, Julian Fawcett, Brianna Fawcett and Savannah Graber.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada with Pastor Travis Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery.
