Obituary
Gayle Louise Monaghan passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Friday June 19, 2015. Gayle was 77 years old.
Gayle was born in Hawthorne, Nevada on August 1, 1937 the daughter of Oliver (Bell) McCoy and Robert McCoy.
Gayle worked as an Echo Technician at St. Mary's Hospital for many years and went on to start her own herbal business known as "Gayle's Herbal Awareness" located in Yerington, Nevada. She loved the mountains, skiing, growing her own herbs, gardening, cooking, reading, her family and friends.
Gayle is survived by her daughter Diana Sjogren; her son Thomas Monaghan; her grandchildren Jennifer Billat, Anthony Evans, Jamie Flood, Patrick Monaghan and Brian Sjogren; her great grandchildren Lucas and McKenna Evans, Taylor and Benjamin Flood, Keegan and Kade Billat; her sister Lois Repp and brothers Jim McCoy and David Larimore. Gayle is proceeded in death by her husband Patrick J. Monaghan, her daughter Linda Keil and grandson David Keil.
A Celebration of Life is being held at Hidden Valley Regional Park, 4740 Parkway Drive Reno, Nevada on Sunday July 19, 2015 starting at 10:00 a.m.
