Gayle Haycock Robinson passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Mt. Grant General Hospital in Hawthorne, Nevada. She was 88.

Gayle was born in Panguitch, Utah on October 30, 1919 the daughter of Marion and Hermina (Allen) Haycock. Gayle married Carlyle Robinson on February 6, 1937. They were also married for eternity on July 26, 1989 in the LDS Temple.

Gayle was a member of the LDS Church, Beta Sigma Phi and the Friday Lunch Bunch, which she throughly enjoyed. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and a friend to all who had the pleasure to know her.

She is survived by her daughters, Joelene (Kees) Visser of Salt Lake City, Utah, Carolyn (Dan) Mulder of Nixa, Missouri, Karla (Bob) Bennett of Hawthorne, Nevada; her brother, Cal J. (Sharon) Haycock of Salt Lake City, Utah; by her 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, James D. and three sister-in-laws, Sharon, Mary and Marge and many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband of 53 years, Carlyle, a son Carl D., granddaughter, Helen, brothers, Kirk, Brent, Kenneth, Robert and sisters, Marion and Herma.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 600 North Oregon Street Yerington. A viewing will be held at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the family plot at Valley View Cemetery, Yerington.
