Obituary
George P. Belle Isle passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Manor Health Care Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 79.
George was born in Maine on January 25, 1930. He was an Army Air Force Veteran. He had married Carolyn F. Petersen, she passed away August 27, 2001. George had lived in Silver Springs since 1995. George had also been a Lounge Singer and magician. He loved trains and was an avid collector.
George is survived by his children, Kerry Belle Isle of Milwaukie, Oregon, Susanne Sager of Estacada, Oregon, Todd Belle Isle and Steven Belle Isle both of Colton, Oregon; his brother, Merritt Belle Isle of Needham Heights, Massachusetts and a sister, Barbara Brailey of Niantic, Connecticut; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Kathy and two sons, Stuart and Dennis
Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 22nd at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada with military honors being provided by the War Veterans Memorial Association. He will be buried next to his wife Carolyn.
