George O'Keefe, died November 27, 2017 in Yerington.  He was a Yerington resident, businessman, insurance agent and was president of nearly every organization that he ever joined.

He arrived in Mason Valley when it was called "the Cattle Kingdom in the Copper Hills" and was one of the few individuals to receive a key to the City of Yerington.  He believed in fun (phun) and mirth and being true to the principles of loyalty, fidelity and doing it his own way.  He loved to travel and he loved his family who will miss his hugs, kisses and advice.  When you tell a joke, hear a really good story or raise your glass - think of George.

There will be a gathering to Celebrate his Life on Thursday, December 28th, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Dini's Lucky Club, 45 North Main Street Yerington.
