Obituary
Granville 'Grant' Ernest Johns passed away at his home in Washoe Valley, Nevada on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. He was 85.
Granville was born in Yerington, Nevada on December 13, 1923 the son of Joseph and May (Baldwin) Johns. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He married Kathryn Kronquist in San Francisco in 1952. He worked as a Partsman for Cashman's Equipment for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Johns of Washoe Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bruce.
Grant's funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 30th at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Burial will be in the family plot at the Valley View Cemetery.
