Harry William Pardick, Jr. passed away on Tuesday morning, February 15, 2011 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. He was 84.

Harry was born December 3, 1926 in Fallon, Nevada the son of Harry and Mary (Mae) Pardick.
He attended the Fallon schools; Stillwater, Oats Park, and Churchill County High School.

Harry joined the U. S. Navy and served from 1944 - l949. He returned home and worked in construction in Hyannis Port, MA. Upon returning to Fallon in 1950, he worked for the Dodge Construction in Fallon and Lovelock. He lived in Lovelock until 1967 and served on the hospital board and served as a Pershing County Commissioner. He moved to Yerington where he was the bookkeeper for People's Pack, Walker River Irrigation District, Nevada Hay Growers, and after retirement was a self-employed Hay Broker for many years.
He was a very active member with the Masons and belonged to the Kerak Shrine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and being with his family.

Harry was preceded in death by his spouse of 42 years, Barbara; parents; four brothers and one sister.

Harry is survived by his two Sons; Jack (Cindy) of Winnemucca; Theodore (Ted) of Reno, sisters Doris Askew of Houston, TX; Lida Ayers of Fallon; Grandchildren Jennifer (Davin) Tovrea; Clinton Pardick; Taylor & Kylie Pardick; Great Grandchildren Dawn Pardick and Kashayna Tovrea, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; a very loving and caring companion Dixie Merriman and a myriad of friends.

Harry's Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208, Yerington, Nevada (775) 463-2911.
